The first step of the journey is to
get a ticket from your local airport to Bangkok, Thailand (Code
BKK). Second, you have to decide how to travel from Bangkok to Koh
Samui - the Options are:
 Traveling With Thai
Int. Airways (Suratthani)
A
domestic ticket for Bangkok Airways from Bangkok to Koh Samui can
be order at your local travel agency, any travel agency in
Thailand or online. Look at the
time-table for available flights.
 Important
note: Take care of your
baggage in Bangkok or you will arrive at Samui without any ! Your
baggage will not be redirected automatically at Bangkok Airport,
so you have to pick it up, move to domestic terminal and check-in
your baggage again.

at Bangkok Int. Airport, read our

2800- and app. Baht 150 for bus/ferry (US$ 50).
After arriving at Surat Thani Airport
(about 1 hour), you can take an air-conditioned bus to Koh Samui.
Tickets are also available at Bangkok Airport.
The ferry transfer is included
because the bus uses the ferry (it cannot swim ... :-)
On the island the bus first stops at
the ferry pier and then at Nathon pier. Remember to tell the
resort where and when you want to be picked up.
